KCs is a restaurant standing out amongst others: be it for its huge, impressive and colourful flower-garden and the beautifully decorated house and diningroom, all of them placed in well looked after surroundings. Be it for its unique riverfront bar and lounges from where you can watch the daily elephant-bathing taking place right in front of you or enjoying a sundowner with awesome views over the Rapti river and across to the forests of Chitwan National Park Or be it for the restaurant itself...
KCs restaurant is located in a traditional built two storey house covered with a stone and a grass thached roof, open towards the lovely gardens, with a nice river-breeze going through, cooling it from the heat of the day. There are nicely set tables under the roof and out in the garden place, where at night sometimes a logfire is burning. There is a bar in the restaurant itself and one at the riverside...
The KCs restaurant is offering you a wide variety of nepali, indian, continental and mexican dishes, specialising in tender steaks, fresh fish and vegetarian food. Everything is freshly prepared and while waiting for your dish you may dare a glimpse into the modern open-built kitchen to watch the chefs preparing your dinner with all their skills. Everything is cooked freshly, even the paneer is homemade, and we put a high standard on hygienic matters eg. all our salads are washed in iodine water..
The Rhino BarThere is a "Rhino bar" in the restaurant itself and one at the riverside, with nice lounges to sit and watch canoeing ride on Rapti river or enjoying a sundowner drink from the barkeeper with tempting names like "Tiger Special“, "Sauraha Smile“ or "Rhino Horn“...!
